PREVALENCE OF CARDIOVASCULAR RISK AND ASSOCIATED FACTORS IN USERS OF A PSYCHOSOCIAL CARE CENTER

Abstract


In mental health services is fundamental that users are treated in their totality, treating the disorders they present, as well as other comorbidities that they have or may possess, often due to their own psychiatric treatment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors of Chronic Diseases and associated factors in users of (CAPS II) of Uruguaiana/RS. This is a descriptive cross-sectional diagnostic research. Anthropometric measures, cardiovascular risk variables and diagnosis of behavioral indicators of 29 users with a mean age of 39.9 (± 12.5) years were analyzed. The mean results of systolic blood pressure (118.4 ± 16.9) and diastolic blood pressure (75.0 ± 14.9) were within normal limits. The mean BMI was 27.5 (kg / m²), characterized by overweight, the average time of habitual physical activity was 62.1 (min), not reaching the minimum recommended time. Cardiovascular risks were found in CC (51.7%), CA (79.3%), WHER (79.3%), WHIR (65.5%) and 82.8% presented at least one risk factor. Evidencing the need for an effective therapeutic plan seeking the prevention of these risk factors through the practice of physical activity in a way that reaches the minimum time recommended for health.
