Jaqueline Cezar Schindler, Wania Márcia de Aguiar, William Azevedo Dunningham

Abstract

The present text deal with the articulation of different fields of knowledge: the relationship between educational psychology, pedagogy, psychology and psychoanalysis. Possible contributions from psychoanalysis to the educator’s formation and classroom work are considered. Some concepts of Freud and Lacan are reviewed seeking the articulation “desire to know – transference” essential to the teacher-student relationship. Finally, the way in which this link would be possible is questioned, once the occidental contemporary subject is constituted as crossed by the individualistic perspective.
