Alejandro Patiño Román

Abstract

This essay seeks to expose the clinical and profound concepts of anxiety. We examine the constituent points of the "anxiety experience", and the necessity for making differential diagnoses as known to specialists in this field. However, the general consensus of this phenomenon so important to our existential condition requires the introduction of an analysis, briefly stated, that hints at assistance from philosophy, particularly, existential philosophy. The enigma of being or not being confronts us with nothingness which is reflected in this universal problem along with possible solutions. We try to admit the need for philosophy in the formation of the medical.
