MENTAL HEALTH: A REPORT OF VICTIMS OF INJUSTICE IN LABOR ACTIVITY

Abstract

Introduction: Mental health has emerged as an important public health issue and its relationship with the stress that work activity carries is undeniable. Objective: To analyze the relationship between mental illness and work, describing the impact of occupational stress and arbitrary reintegration in the lives of victims, since there is little research on the subject and many professionals have to move away due to temporary incapacity of their lives. functions in the organizations where they work, and may have an early and unsatisfactory return to their former duties. Methods: A semi-structured interview was conducted with these individuals to analyze the content of their report about the feeling of injustice that they are feeling because they have been partly ill due to inadequate conditions and have to involuntarily return to their jobs. Results: It was observed in the contents of the interviews that all patients underwent situations of occupational stress and social security that produced feelings of injustice in them, which caused damage to social life and functionality. Conclusion: The reports reveal negative feelings (injustice, sadness, anger and anger) about the stressful working conditions that contributed to their respective health problems and their arbitrary reintegration.
